May Day 7

If the May Day Poetry Project was a movie franchise, at year seven we'd be at pre-quel and post-quel already.

But it isn't a movie franchise. It's a varied group of poets who meet on-line once a year to write and post poems to a blog.

I'm always glad to be a part of it. But THIS year I'm actually looking forward to it...

Here's to a poem every other day in May. Here's to you, this year's varied group of poets!

(And if you're wanting MORE poetry, there's always the League of Canadian Poets' National Poetry Month blog.)

May Day again!

Hello fellow May Day-ers,

I'm pleased to be part of this for the third year, and am looking forward to reading everyone's work. I hope to post something every other day, distractions be damned. (We'll just see how this goes, but I'm going to try.)

Allô!

Un gros bonjour to all my fellow May-Dayers,

My name is Marjo and I'm very pleased to take part in The May Day Poetry Project for a 4th consecutive year. I look forward to meeting up with old friends and making new ones, and as always, I welcome honest feedback from you all.

So what does May have in store for me this year? I suspect there mAy be many voices hovering about me this month, and with that in mind, I've set my personal goal to publishing daily.

Happy May Daying everyone!!

May Day!

Hello May Day poets,

May is almost here and I'm looking forward to this annual kick-in-the pants tradition. My goals this year are modest, with working full-time and planning a wedding. I hope to post 6-8 poems over the month. I can't promise to comment on every poem, but I will try to comment when I can. Here's to setting ourselves a challenge and rising to it. Look forward to reading your contributions.
