Spring is low-down
in the morning she attempted embroidery
with the green horde –
but their long stitches looped
from limb to limb
every last worm taken by the wind
before she could show them
her tight
regular stitches
Her afternoon music lessons
were no better: frogs that overwintered
under a slowly softening log
or a wet clump
don’t leave anything to the imagination
flashed legs and white throats
while they sang
and it turned out
it’s all about the groupies
anyway
Spring wrings her hands
over the pulp
of fallen blossoms
the spent pussywillows
you see just about
everywhere
but what can you do?

Spring domesticity! More! I wanted to see more of the domesticity! Sorry, now I can't stop with the exclamation points!
Anyway, enough of amusing myself, I had some trouble following the imagery of the first stanza. I loved that "Spring is low-down/in the morning" and the sound of "long stitches looped/from limb to limb", but then we move into her "her tight/regular stitches" and I really wondered if you couldn't use another image here? An embroidery stitch? Something relating to sewing? (Just suggestions).
I did want to see this longer, more domestic relationships explored, but liked what you have here as well.
