I looked up about mille fiore and realized I knew what it was….can you unpack that very rich image more in a subsequent piece (or reworking of this one if you choose to make it longer)….I love what is here already, it is quite like the subject so I wouldn't make it too much bigger than what it already is, or if you do, keep each piece small like the flowers themselves and like this piece already is, small compact and perfect…a series of little tiny mille fires…speaking of form and content! <3

Yes, really lovely imagery-- "blossom of white hot furnace"-- I agree that you could build on this.
