Evening, (viii)

.
She lies with tired eyes
When the world is asleep
Her toes twinkle to the speed
Of her thoughts

Uncomfortable with the
Idea of endings and beginnings
She can't say if morning
Will come too soon or too late

It is time
That she prays for
Twenty-six hour days
Years that last an eternity

She will run out of time
She worries
Out of time
.................She will run
.

this is so interesting Marj, somehow I want this to begin with,

"She prays for
Twenty-six hour days"

a rejuggling (sp?) of lines somewhat...

why is she praying for time? will we find out?

now, I'm hooked!
